This song is based on Psalm 55, where the psalmist crys out to God asking for help in the midst of turmoil and suffering. As soon as I decided to do an EP of psalm songs, I knew that one of the songs would need to be a lament psalm that really resonated with me. I hope this song resonates with you, and reminds you that there is a God who offers you rest and solace when you seek Him.
